To possibly offset the dreariness of the pandemic, this year’s edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics Tile and Bathroom Furnishings - which took place in Bologna, Italy at the end of September - was popping with exuberant colors, intricate patterns, and tactile surfaces.
Safe participation was ensured by the Green Pass. The exhibition offered an extensive programme of cultural initiatives and events. The Contract Hall and Cersaie Digital were the new features of this year's show.
The innovative strategy of bringing together all segments of the downstream value chain at a single event has played a key role in the success of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings.
The importance of the tactile and sensorial aspects of architecture was the key theme explored by the two internationally renowned architects who addressed the conference “Sensitive Architecture” at Cersaie 2021.
Cersaie is making its return from 27 September to 1 October in the Bologna Exhibition Centre, where some 600 exhibitors from 26 countries will completely occupy no fewer than 15 halls.
