Trentino-Alto Adige is a splendid region with many areas of excellence, where respect for nature goes hand in hand with advanced technologies such as renewable energy, a field in which it is now hailed as a role model for the rest of Italy. A traditionally hospitable region, it never fails to impress visitors for its perfect integration between the natural landscape and architecture, between history and innovation. Against this backdrop of tradition and technology, immersed in the colours and scents of nature, stands the town of Lana, located at the southern edge of the plain of Merano some twenty kilometres from the regional capital of Bolzano. An authentic Mediterranean jewel, the town is nestled at the feet of mountain slopes densely planted with orchards, a reminder that alongside its castles and fortresses the region is also renowned for its fruit growing activities. For visitors wishing to discover the area’s local treasures while enjoying a restful, relaxing holiday, the Schlosshof Resort holiday village hotel is the ideal venue due to its quiet but well exposed location. Based on a multiplicity of architectural languages and styles, the hotel offers equilibrium, wellbeing and multisensory appeal. The interiors and exteriors of the Camping & Hotel Schlosshof display sophistication and attention to detail and adopt environmentally sustainable solutions that blend aesthetically and functionally into the splendid natural context. The main focus of the exterior is the large new Acquaviva open-air swimming pool, whose soft, sinuous design, choice of materials, colours and large poolside lawn reflect the gentle landscape and the hillsides dotted with fruit trees. The 20 by 7 metre pool offers a range of features, including a cocktail area, a waterfall, a whirlpool area and a separate children’s pool. As a further distinguishing feature, porcelain tiles from the In&Out Percorsi Style collection from Ceramiche Keope in the colour Pietra Dorica were chosen for the pavings for their ability to elegantly revisit the natural shades of local stone and the magical reflections of sunlight and the night-time illumination on their surfaces. These tiles combine exquisite visual appeal with outstanding technical performance based on cutting-edge production technologies such as dryTECH, which creates a compact and homogeneous material with a natural, textured appearance through a process of dry shaping micronised coloured earths. Furthermore, the tiles maintain their aesthetic and technical qualities for many years, delivering slip resistance, waterproofing, outstanding frost resistance and high resistance to impact, wear and chemicals and assuring the maximum comfort and safety for users.
