Industrial design on display at Cersaie | by Andrea Serri
Cersaie, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, is ready to open its 35th edition, where products of outstanding quality in terms of beauty, design and technology will be on display for five days. Almost a thousand stands will be displaying industrial design products and their various applications.
At Cersaie all exhibitors are manufacturing companies: they come from 41 different countries, and represent the excellence in their own industry, field, or niche. Being industrially structured, they are able to combine the highest standards of production and quality over time (an important guarantee for consumers) with different shapes and applications, so that design and destination of use can go hand in hand.
The extraordinarity of Cersaie lies in being able to witness this beauty 869 times this year. Results are sometimes different if not opposite to one another. Just think of the many sizes available, from mosaic to large format tiles, or to the shape sanitary ware can have today: they can be classic or modern, and are available in all rainbow colours. Within this technology capable of meeting all expectations, human creativity, which is basically unlimited, finds the way to flourish. So as to provide consumers with interior products and solutions which are in line with their own dreams and expectations.
These important achievements are sealed by the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award, now at its 4th edition, which honours the most cutting-edge Italian products on display in the exhibition.
