Set in the picturesque Chiltern Hills in the county of Buckinghamshire just 40 km from London, the town of Beaconsfield offers a high standard of living and is renowned in the real estate market for Burkes Road, the second most expensive street in England outside London. With its beautiful natural landscape and fine architecture, the town of just over 10,000 inhabitants offers a vibrant cultural life, high-quality schools and excellent infrastructure. In short, it is the ideal place to enjoy the benefits of country living but in a more dynamic context.
Here EAB Homes Ltd. has developed a complex of detached houses surrounded by greenery, homes that are built to last thanks to the combination of the finest quality materials with traditional construction methods and state-of-the-art technology. The material chosen for the flooring is the Hemisphere porcelain tile collection from Gambini Tile on Time, which with its textural surface and soft colour palette blends in perfectly with the warm, elegant atmosphere of the interiors. Meticulously designed finishings and surface coverings are one of the distinctive features of EAB’s buildings and part of the DNA of the company, whose founding member Paul worked as a cabinetmaker for the famous London department store Harrods.
In particular, if we look at Beechmont House we find traditional influences coexisting with a contemporary style, as well as the use of cutting-edge technological solutions.
The façade, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, conceals 21st century style interiors with steel framed windows and a large industrial-style professional kitchen. On the ground floor there is an elegant living room, study, guest room and a rear covered area ideal for living in close contact with nature in any weather. On the upper floor, the sumptuous master suite is accompanied by four bedrooms, while on the top floor the media room complete with its own kitchenette offers exceptional flexibility in the use of space.
Mulberry House, set in a secluded green landscaped garden, stands out for its timeless design and hi-tech solutions and extends over three floors with spacious layouts. The entrance opens onto the elegant formal rooms, while the spacious kitchen with Garden Room leads onto the terrace with large sliding windows. The upper floors host the 90 square metre Master Suite and the other five bedrooms, along with the Media Room.
These houses blend in perfectly with their surroundings. As EAB Homes says, «our directors have strong ties with Beaconsfield town, dating back to pre-war times. Our long-term commitment to the town, and determination to make a positive impact, ensures anything the company develops helps protect the area’s character.»
