The British capital, a vibrant metropolitan hub and melting pot of new trends and styles, is home to one of the world’s top hairstyling brands, Toni&Guy.
Renowned for its creativity and modernity, the brand has expanded to become a major global chain with stores all over the world.
But London is the city that most clearly reflects the contemporary urban style of the original Toni&Guy hair salons.
In keeping with its focus on high-quality customer service and a strong post-industrial look, one of the famous British brand’s salons was recently renovated using Gardenia Orchidea’s Concept Stone porcelain tile collection in 80×80 cm and 40×80 cm sizes and the colour anthracite.
This proved to be an excellent choice, allowing a light/dark contrast to be created between the floor and the white furnishings of the salon. The interior design is enhanced by a play of mirrors, creating a trendy yet modern and practical space that reflects the dynamic lifestyle of this constantly-evolving cosmopolitan city. Customers find themselves immersed in an innovative space, where the «urban» style once used mainly for outdoor locations has been incorporated into an extraordinarily creative indoor design. The atmosphere is a cross between post-industrial trends and an elegant, sophisticated style. And as is so often the case with trends, the starting point for the renovation was a powerful brand identity. The metropolitan grey coloured interiors are further enhanced by the Gardenia Orchidea’s Concept Stone collection, whose spare aesthetics and grey palette transform the salon into an almost theatrical space where a fashion-conscious clientele can enjoy a uniquely creative and artistic hairstyling experience.
With their coloured graphics and distinctive branding, the shop windows attract attention like a contemporary artwork, making passers-by curious to discover what is taking place inside. Stepping into a Toni&Guy salon, they can enjoy a truly eclectic hairstyling experience. The salon’s highly qualified hairdressers use the most innovative techniques of the trade, drawing inspiration from the world of fashion and the latest trends to create urban chic hairstyles.
This retail architecture projects a contemporary, essential lifestyle that at the same time is attentive to details and aesthetics, exploiting the fusions and interactions typical of the world of fashion design to become a true style icon.
