A sand coloured living room

Experienced and qualified dealers can often help homeowners make the perfect choice of ceramic tiles for their interior design projects. A case in point was the owner of a home in Glynde, a suburb of Adelaide, southern Australia, who had decided to renovate a residential apartment set amongst modern, elegant lofts. Overlooking the Indian Ocean, the city stretches from west to east by about 20 km, from the coast as far as the inland hills.
For the living space, divided into functional relaxation and dining areas, the owner opted for Square from Italgraniti, a large-format porcelain tile in the colour Avenue with soft sandy tones that creates a warm, welcoming surface. The collection offers a contemporary interpretation of the warm texture created by the manual expertise of skilled craftsmen, enhanced by the large size and a sophisticated colour palette. The porcelain tones are reminiscent of the pale colours of wood furnishings and stand in pleasant contrast to those of the conversation area, furnished with large, comfortable chairs with dark coloured upholstery. Old black and white photographs stand out from the white of the walls, while contemporary art and design objects grace the extremely linear furnishing units, helping to customise the space.
