Rilievi, the CEDIT collection designed by Zaven, has received the NYCxDESIGN Award; the prestigious recognition presented by Interior Design magazine and by ICFF that gathers and rewards the best design achievements every year.
Rilievi – first shown at the Spazio CEDIT during Fuorisalone 2018 – was selected by an international jury and awarded as overall winner in the “Wall Covering: Tile & Stone” category.
Designed by Zaven | Enrica Cavarzan & Marco Zavagno, Rilievi is the collection of high-impact interior design coverings that overturns the traditional rules of ceramic tile creation: three-dimensional elements with different geometric forms and colours decorate the large slabs by CEDIT, transforming walls and spaces into imaginative scenarios that constitute real works of art.
The awards ceremony took place at the Pier 17, Seaport District NYC, on Monday, May 21. The event was broadcasted online live and presented by Cindy Allen, Editor in Chief of Interior Design magazine. More than 500 entries between products and projects from all over the world, divided into more than 30 categories, participated at this edition of the NYCxDESIGN Awards. The selection of the winning projects was made by an international jury.
CEDIT was first awarded the NYCxDESIGN Award in the “Building Products” category at the first edition of the award, in 2016.
