Adding yet another achievement to Lea Ceramiche’s pursuit of excellence, the Masterpiece collection designed by Ferruccio Laviani has won the “Finishes” category of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2021. This award is assigned to the best products in international design since 2016 and in particular recognises outstanding creativity, research and innovation. Envisioned as a way of bringing countless design stories to life, Masterpiece won over the jury for its concept and design and also received a special mention for sustainability from a special panel of eco-design professionals and experts.
A lively, sophisticated and multifaceted collection, Masterpiece comes in ten colours and two different surfaces – Master, with a concrete look, and Piece, inspired by terrazzo flooring – which can be used individually or combined at will. This concept allows architects and interior designers to give free rein to their creativity through a fascinating interplay of different combinations. Designed as an architectural surface for interior and exterior use, Masterpiece has its own distinctive character but can also be combined with materials and finishes from other Lea Ceramiche collections to give an original identity to any project. The collection also includes a wide range of modular sizes, from 30×60 cm to 120×120 cm.
