For the sixth consecutive year, Marazzi Group – international leader in the design and production of ceramic floor and wall tiles – has been certified one of the Top Employers based on the company’s excellent working conditions and the quality of its training and development programmes.
The study, conducted globally every year by the Top Employers Institute, certifies companies around the world which guarantee the best working conditions, invest in training programmes and development at all company levels, and which constantly strive to improve their best practices.
“We are delighted to have received the Top Employers certification for the sixth year running and to have also extended it this year to Marazzi in Spain”, comments Luca Gatti, Marazzi Group Director of HR and Organisation. “In what is still a challenging year, we have been able to work safely in every country, thanks in part to the huge amount of training we have done each year on the subject, which has fostered a culture of safety in our companies and has also enabled us to share and apply the strict protection protocols adopted to contain the pandemic. With a combination of distance and face-to-face classes, we continued to provide training not only on safety but in all areas – quality and environment, management, IT, linguistics and technical-specialist – making a total of 257 courses and over 11,000 hours of teaching in 2021, as part of the Marazzi Academy project, which is complemented locally by the Marazzi Academy Duale project, a multi-year course for over 50 students at the “Alessandro Volta” Higher Education Institute in Sassuolo, in the province of Modena, with the main focus on employability”.
“We have, in addition”, continues Gatti, “added new conventions to the Corporate Welfare programme, guaranteeing the opportunity to convert a part of the productivity bonus into goods or services related to health, education, wellbeing and culture”.
The Top Employers 2022 Awards Ceremony took place online with hundreds of participants from the companies that have won the prestigious award, connecting from all over Europe.
