By obtaining ISO 14001 certification, Kerasan confirms its commitment to the development of an efficient environmental management system that will enable it to constantly monitor resources and make intelligent use of energy. The certification sets a de facto international standard and demonstrates a company’s attention to the sensitive issue of the sustainability of its production activities. “We consider ISO 14001 certification as a reward for our hard work. Reducing environmental impact is a concrete, long-term goal for Kerasan,” confirms Roberto Banditelli, managing director of the Civita Castellana-based company.
Kerasan has always been attentive to the environmental compatibility and safety of its supply chain, from products through to packaging and the production process. In compliance with all relevant regulations, waste is disposed of in dedicated authorised landfills and processing water is recycled, filter pressed and returned to the production cycle.
