Located inside the company headquarters in Via Borsi, Milan in a brightly-lit building with large windows and water features, Ideal Standard’s new showroom is a brand communication space tailored to the needs of design professionals. Showcasing the design and technology that has always underpinned the company’s research efforts, it gives architects and business partners an overview of Ideal Standard’s products in all their various versions, beginning with the Atelier Collections.
The new space was designed by the practice Palomba Serafini Associati and has a simple, clean design inspired by the company’s history but with a contemporary twist. The main aims were to create an itinerary where visitors can discover the company’s products while opening up the external display windows to the surroundings and controlling the lighting. The building designed by Palomba Serafini Associati stands out for its sober and restful spaces and for its uniform concrete-effect surfaces that relate to the context and create a consistent language, thereby expanding spaces and itineraries.
There is also a technical area and a training space for the brand’s partners.
