For the third year running, the enchanting garden at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice provided the setting for Florim cultural event devoted to industry professionals.
The focus of the evening was the “AMBIENTI” (ENVIRONMENTS) talk – a title in keeping with the theme of the 2018 Biennale and with CEDIT installation in Campo Santo Stefano – which explored the concept of architectural space, its boundaries and its dialogue between the public and private spheres, featuring eminent speakers from the international creative and artistic world: Andrea Anastasio, Giorgia Zanellato and Zaven.
The conversation involved an examination of the “freespace” theme, analyzing it from different points of view more closely related to product design. Projects developed by individual designers were the “tools” that enabled an analysis of the concept of space and spatiality.
The event – organized in collaboration with Elle Decor Italia and Guggenheim Intrapresæ – was preceded by the visit to CEDIT temporary “AMBIENTI” installation (open until 8th July), which presents five collections by the CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia brand designed by Formafantasma, Giorgio Griffa, Franco Guerzoni, Zanellato/Bortotto and Zaven.
