Florim opens a new showroom in Paris

Florim continues to open new institutional spaces in the most important global design centres. On Thursday 16th June the Group opened a new Flagship Store in Paris – an enduring reference point for fashion and luxury and an essential destination for professionals in the world of design, furnishings and architecture.

The eighth Florim Flagship Store is located in the Opéra district – also known as the new Golden Triangle – which is home to the most prestigious brands and the city’s most iconic sites, like the Louvre, Place des Victoires and Place Vendôme. The showroom (32 avenue de l’Opéra – Paris) is located in a historic Haussmann style building, with a typical Parisian facade in cut stone adorned with intriguing caryatids and baskets of fruit, and elegant long balconies.

The modern, stylish display spaces maintain the same stylistic identity as the other showrooms: the Florim Gallery in Fiorano Modenese (Modena) and Flagship Stores in Milan, New York, Moscow, Singapore, Frankfurt, London and Abu Dhabi.

“We continue to invest in opening new spaces that allow us to have an on-the-ground presence in the leading global capitals of architecture and design. We want to establish ties with the big architecture firms and to promote Florim products and the use of large slabs, both for traditional covering applications and for the new furniture market. Our internationalisation journey will continue in the coming months with two new openings.” explained Claudio Lucchese, Chairman of Florim.

The Flagship Store in Paris is located in the heart of the city and represents a place for meeting and dialoguing with architecture professionals. Spread across two floors and covering an area of 650 m2, the showroom is a multifunctional space dedicated to the display of Florim ceramic collections: the large slabs (up to 320×160 cm) are presented both individually and in installations that underline their expressive potential and their applicational versatility – floors, walls, furnishings and specific architectural solutions. The mezzanine floor houses offices and a work area reserved for architects and designers.

Florim decided to open in Paris in collaboration with David B, a prestigious and long-standing partner of the group, with a deep-rooted knowledge of the interior design market.

The opening was organised in conjunction with Agape, Gessi and Modulnova.
