FILA Industria Chimica has enthusiastically joined The Climate Pledge, the initiative promoted by Amazon and Global Optimism that has seen more than 100 leading companies in their fields commit to reaching zero CO2 emissions by 2040, 10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement’s goal of 2050. FILA and Atlantia are to date the only two major Italian companies to have signed up to the initiative.
“We take care of the long-term beauty of surfaces to bring well-being and harmony to rooms and living spaces. Our methods and products are both innovative and sustainable. This is why we have set ourselves this ambitious goal,” comments FILA’s CEO Francesco Pettenon. “We firmly believe that respect for people and the planet is the only way to guarantee a bright future for ourselves and our children.”
FILA’s commitment is embodied in FILA Green Action, a framework that brings together a series of company-wide actions inspired by the overarching principle of environmental sustainability. FILA’s eco-friendly professional solutions have been adopted for Green Pea, the world’s first Green Retail Park devoted to the theme of Respect.
