Ceramiche Keope obtains WELL Building Standard V2® certification

In a further demonstration of its commitment to human beings and the environment, Ceramiche Keope has gained WELL Building Standard V2® certification.

Launched in 2014 by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), WELL Building Standard® is the first rating scheme to assess the health and wellbeing in building according to a holistic approach that considers the comfort, safety and psychophysical wellbeing of the occupants. WELL Building Standard V2® is the latest and most rigorous version.

Keope has already gained other important certifications in the field of sustainability and social responsibility, including credit certification for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) environmental rating for the design and construction of buildings with a low environmental footprint and UNI EN ISO 45001 certification for its occupational health and safety management system.

As further confirmation of the company’s commitment to consumer wellbeing, this year it obtained DECLARE certification which identifies Ceramiche Keope products as LBC Red List Free, i.e. free of chemical substances identified by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) as harmful to the environment. This certifies that Keope porcelain floor and wall tiles contribute to the health and wellness of living spaces.
