Following on the heels of the Architecture & Design Film Festival in New York, Ceramics of Italy will participate in two important ceramic tile industry events taking place in North America in 2018 fall. From October 27-30, Ceramics of Italy will sponsor and participate in Total Solutions Plus (TSP) in Texas. Then, on November 14, representatives will display a tabletop exhibit and network with architects, designers, developers, and other industry professionals at the Tile Marble Terrazzo Seminar Series in New York.

Each year, TSP brings together senior level ceramic tile industry professionals from around the world to mingle and learn from one another with a series of educational sessions, relevant speakers and networking opportunities. Organized by the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) and the Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA), the 2018 edition will take place in Grapevine, TX from October 27-30. This year, Ceramics of Italy will  sponsor the closing keynote address, where Armando Cafiero, Managing Director of Confindustria Ceramica, will present the film Timeless Tiles: The Italian Legacy to a large audience and introduce speaker J.P. Pawliw Fry and his keynote topic, “Emotional Intelligence and Performing Under Pressure: Doing Your Best When It Matters the Most.” Ceramics of Italy will also participate in the tabletop exhibit (Booth 17) where representatives will network with industry colleagues and distribute materials on the Italian ceramics industry as well as the 2019 Tile Competition. Interested tile industry professionals can register at ctdahome.org/tsp/2018

On November 14, Ceramics of Italy will once again participate in the Tile Marble Terrazzo Seminar Series organized by the International Masonry Institute (IMI). The last stop of an annual cross-country seminar series for architects, designers, building developers, agencies and contractors to gain insight into specifying and installing tile, marble and terrazzo, the CEU accredited event will take place at the IMI-BAC Training Center in Long Island City. The program will feature breakfast, lunch, material educational sessions and a tabletop exhibit, where visitors can learn more about Ceramics of Italy and the 2019 Tile Competition.
