For the 31st edition of ICFF – North America’s platform for global design taking place May 19-22 – Ceramics of Italy will return to New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center with a large pavilion (booths 2225-2325) showcasing the latest trends and expanding versatility of Italian ceramics within the broader context of architecture and design. Organized by Confindustria Ceramica (the Italian Association of Ceramics) and the Italian Trade Agency, the Ceramics of Italy Pavilion will feature 19 premier brands launching new products ranging from decorative ceramics and new designer collections to large-format porcelain slabs and sleek sanitaryware.

With cutting-edge products from dozens of premier tile brands, the Ceramics of Italy Pavilion will demonstrate how the Italian ceramics industry leads the way in sustainability, innovation and design trends. Tiles newly available in the U.S. market and featured in the pavilion will include: large-scale porcelain slabs with playful graphics and wallpaper-like characteristics; inventive moasics; internationally recognized designer collaborations; metal, stone and marble looks that capture the intricacies of each natural material to an impressive level of accuracy; and tiles with exciting new finishes and texture capabilites. Visitors can also expect to find tiles ranging from 3-30mm thick, including a new 12mm thick tile specifically designed for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, tables and outdoor kitchens.

Participating companies represented in the pavilion include Blustyle by Cotto d’Este, Ceramica Bardelli, Ceramica Del Conca, Ceramiche Atlas Concorde, Ceramiche Gardenia Orchidea, Ceramiche Refin, Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola, Decoratori Bassanesi Italia 1988, Emilgroup, FAP Ceramiche, Florim, Infinity | The Engineered Surface, Marca Corona, Mipa, Mirage Granito Ceramico, Settecento –Mosaici e Ceramiche d’Arte, Simas, Tuscania Ceramiche e Vallelunga & Co.. Representatives from Ceramics of Italy and the exhibiting brands will be available throughout the show to answer questions and comment on design trends, installation techniques, technological advancements, and distribution.

The Ceramics of Italy Pavilion at ICFF offers an excellent opportunity for architects and designers together to network and speak with the manufacturers directly, and learn more about the wide range of Italian ceramic products that are available for commercial, residential and institutional design needs in North America.
